Happy Fourth of July!

Spend the Fourth of July with the whole family at Sovereign Estate. The pinnacle of summer fun, nothing beats celebrating our country’s independence while listening live music at our Marquette Patio, sipping on fine wine, eating Americana cook-out classics, and enjoying the beautiful panoramic views. As dusk approaches, settle in along the vineyard for the best view of Lake Waconia Fireworks Festival (a division of the Waconia Chamber of Commerce).

In case of rain, all Fourth of July activities will be taking place in the Marquette Pavilion. Lawn chairs and blankets are strongly recommended if you are staying for the fireworks. RAIN OR SHINE EVENT!! No refunds.

What to Expect

  • Gates open at 2:30 PM.

  • This is a ticketed event! All guests must have a ticket to be on property. Tickets are sold online or at the gate. 

  • Check-in will be at the gate!

  • If you have pre-purchased tickets, please show confirmation upon arrival at the gate. Wristbands will be given to all attendees. 

  • Bands start playing at 3:00 PM in the Marquette Pavilion

  • Bring lawn chairs and blankets if you plan to stay for the fireworks.

  • Dogs are welcome at Sovereign Estate but they must be kept on a leash and remain on our grass areas AT ALL TIMES!

    • Please take into consideration that many dogs are easily scared by the fireworks display, and if you think this might apply to your four-legged best friend, it might be kinder to leave them at home.

  • Coolers & Picnics are strictly prohibited. The Winery serves wine, craft beer, and other non-alcoholic beverages, and will be offering a special Americana menu at our Bistro concessions.

  • Personal fireworks and sparklers are strictly prohibited. Guest caught with any such paraphernalia will be immediately asked to leave the property.

  • Fireworks typically begin around 9:30 PM.

  • This is a rain or shine event. No refunds.
